Hi! My name is Jim Herndon, and I'm the owner and photographer of On Location Portraiture.

Since opening my first studio in Garland in 2000, I've worked full-time as a photographer and have photographed over 800 different portrait sessions and weddings. I recently moved my studio into downtown Dallas in the historic Hickory Street Annex with my wife, Erin, and our dog, Ibiki.

My goal as a portrait photographer is to create portraits that reveal unique personality while helping every client look their best. I want your portrait session to be a blast - fun, stress-free, and without a rush. I aim for a natural, even casual, look that will be loved for years into the future.
